Volume housing across the Thames Gateway and Ashford
Garden community and urban extension schemes run on repetition. Once a house type is signed off, the same roof gets built dozens or hundreds of times, and the value is in getting the design right once and then delivering it reliably, phase after phase. We design each truss to the approved drawing, hold that specification across repeat orders so plot ninety matches plot one, and deliver on our own vehicles to a fixed five working day turnaround. For a site manager working to a programme, the predictable part matters more than the fast part.
Oast houses, barns and conversion work
Kent’s rural building stock throws up roofs that standard trussed rafters were never designed for. Roundel roofs on oast houses, long open spans on agricultural barns, and older properties where the structure has moved over a century or more. These jobs tend to start with a measured survey rather than a drawing, and the truss has to be designed around what is actually there rather than what the plans say. We manufacture individual sections up to 4.5 metres high and prefabricated trussed rafters spanning up to 16 metres. Our free site measure service exists for exactly this kind of work, where a small error in the survey becomes an expensive one on site.
