Whilst our timber is treated on site in our specialist treatment facility it is important to also treat any ends that are cut leaving the raw wood exposed and as a result susceptible to attack from wood rotting fungi and insect infestation. We can supply our high quality End Coat Cut ‘N’ Treat on site. The preservative is tinted brown to indicate where the timber has been treated and complies with NHBC performance standard 2.3 S3 requirements.
This timber treatment is suitable in construction projects that require protection to hazard categories H1, H2, H3 (see table below) such as roof timbers, window frames, joinery and cladding as well as for internal application. The treatment is extremely cost effective when balanced against the potential expense that could be incurred if timber is left untreated.
